Coaches, one of our Division 1 Flexbone Schools shared this Installation with the Flexbone Association a few years ago. This is a five-day installation plan on installing the Flexbone Offense. Keep in mind that an install=two offensive practices on that day.

1. Keep it simple.
2. Focus on individual fundamentals within each play.
3. Repetition v. multiple looks.
4. After Day Five, spend time reviewing concepts with which players are struggling.

Day Two Install
1. Motions–Rip/Liz, Roy/Lou, Twirl, Opposite, Red, Tail
2. Trips and Over Formations
3. Split 4-3 Defense (“31”)
4. Midline Triple, Lead, Twirl, and White
5. Counter Option
6. Triple Pass
7. Half-roll- Tree Routes
Day Three Install
1. Double Flex Formation
2. Split 4-4 (“31”) and Odd Stack (3-3-5/3-5-3/5-3)
3. Dropback Passing Offense
Day Four Install
1. Heavy Formation
2. Double Option
3. Zone Dive Follow
4. Zone Belly
5. QB Sneak
Day Five Install
1. Reverse
2. Half-roll Passing Offense
